The finer mesh version with fine yarn and without terry cloth is suitable for printing. We primarily use sublimation printing to allow for enhanced durability and full coverage of the print, as the DTG (direct to garment) process only allows partial printing.

The advantage of printed socks is that almost all designs can be implemented. From delicate logos, through color gradients, to photorealistic images, printing offers the greatest design possibilities.

However, printed socks also have disadvantages, such as limited durability of the print, synthetic fiber as the main material instead of cotton, print edges on the sides, overall thinner yarn, and a mandatory black heel and toe. Printed socks are the right choice for those who are willing to make some compromises in quality and functionality for complete design freedom.

All our socks are made according to the Öko-Tex 100 standard, and on request, also with organic cotton. Printing with the latter is only limitedly possible.

If you value quality, we are happy to offer you our premium version: the knitted sports sock made of cotton. It is more durable, higher quality, more sustainable, and believe it or not, more affordable.

Unlike printing, here the design is knitted into the socks, which offers several quality advantages:

- As pre-dyed yarns are knitted into a design during manufacturing, the pattern remains even after numerous washes.

- With printed socks, the print is only superficially applied to the material. When stretching the socks, white lines are usually visible. This effect only occurs in exceptional cases with knitted socks.

- Sublimation printing creates a border along the side of the socks that interrupts the pattern. Due to the circular knitting technique, full-surface motifs are possible with knitting.

- Cotton does not absorb the print ink as well as synthetic materials, so printed socks are mostly made of polyamide or polyester, which can lead to heat build-up and thus sweating. Our knitted socks, depending on the motif, have a cotton content of 70-80%, with polyamide only added for reinforcement and for knitting fine details and logos. While cotton socks better absorb sweat and have better moisture regulation, the addition of 3% elastane provides good stretchability and fit.

- The knitting variant is significantly more sustainable than the printing process, which is energy-intensive and chemical-intensive. Additionally, it can optionally be made from organic cotton.

- Finally, the knitted motif sock offers a better price-performance ratio, as printing is expensive and only possible from a larger minimum order quantity.

Although knitted sports socks cannot implement photorealistic motifs, they offer almost as many options for customization as our crew socks. Because we offer sports socks up to a fineness of 168 stitches with which we can also implement finer logos and motifs with up to 6 colors.

The possibilities for personalizing sports socks are as varied as their uses. From simple logo socks, logo as embroidery, pictograms distributed across to full-surface motifs, the imagination is almost limitless. In the knitted version, the entire area of the socks is freely designable with few restrictions. Only the heel and toe areas must remain single-colored, as with crew socks.

Those who want to reproduce the retro look of classic tennis socks should keep the socks in black and white, with the company logo or club logo on the ankle, framed by two colored stripes, and possibly supplemented by a slogan in a non-serif font on the foot back or sole.

Those who want to create a more modern streetwear look work with few large elements, such as a wide black stripe with vertically oriented writing on the back of the shaft or an all-over camouflage pattern.

Those who want to reinterpret the sports sock completely can combine bright colors with writing, logos, and symbols.
